One Barrel Brewing and their illustrious Brew Master host Like Fun! in this grand episode. The boys discuss the Roman Empire and her not so great Emperors, Quentin Tarantino's movies, why the sub prime mortgage crisis didn't matter, and cursing. One Barrel is a great Madison establishment with a fantastic coin pusher, dollars on the ceiling for a good cause, also beer. Thanks Matt! We'll be back.

Three days late and the Ep is still over an hour. The boys really get into William Tecumseh Sherman and the Worker's World Party's take on Joseph Stalin, and I mean they really get into it with those guys. Greg and Josh also manage to review Surly's Hell and give a nod to 'Even More Jesus' by Evil twin and Daisy Cutter by Half-Acre. Peter Stormare's portrayal of Satan, The Finer Points of Axis and Allies, and Ordering Pizza via telephone are all matters for the table.

A pilsner blind taste test is held as they boys wave a hardy goodbye to summer. Once again the the taste test is a hit and listeners are encouraged to try this at home. Greg hits up an Indian Wedding (no worries, he was invited) and Josh displays his vast knowledge of that one New Girl episode that had an Indian wedding in it. Arbys, The Cheesecake Factory, and Madison's new deli are mistreated.

Back at studio 'A' the boys have a guest, but that's not important. What is important you ask? Fish Day, Step by Step, The Whiskey Farm, Why our guest has never seen Tombstone, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Crow Sounds. We also taste a number of beers including Citra Summer by the Fermentorium in Cedarburg, WI . We certainly overindulged and captured well over 2 hours of sound, so when its over, its really over...

Dead Bird Brewing hosts the Like Fun! crew in Golden Age style. The boys discuss the trials and triumphs of brewing in Madison's own craft beer incubator. Steven King's law team, Space Pirates, Yum-yum fest, Boat Shoes, Cranberry Sauce, and French Phrases are all up for discussion. Dead Bird reveals a few big plans for the coming months at the House of Brews that we are really looking forward to. Cheers!

The Wine and Hop shop graciously hosts Greg and Josh for a blind Local Oktoberfest tasting. Ben (owner) dives into the history of the store, which has provided Dane Co. with brewing and winemaking supplies since the 70's. Kittens, Tankards,  The Real Housewives of Des Moines, and Mayor Soglin's plans to deport all sign spinners to Iowa are on the table. Enjoy!

A Bonus Episode! twice in one week? what is it? your birthday? I hope not, August birthdays can be confusing. Today Brett of the podcast 'The Seat Fillers" fills in for Greg who is on vacation. Brett re-caps the power-hour episode, Josh tears down an old woman with too much time on her hands. The boys take a good hard look at SMASH beers, namely; Lakefront's SMASH ale which they manage to compare to Ghostbusters, a HALO obsessed man-child, and a semi-serious brake problem.

Swampy sums things up pretty well. This week the boys suffer through the Midwestern Heatwave. Thankfully they find refuge in the arms of Phil Hoechst, owner and brewmaster at Hop Haus Brewing Co. in Verona WI. Phil serves up a slew or hoppy brews at his pub as well as a killer Scottish Ale (among others). Phil and the Boys discuss how the heat effects Josh's grundle and County Fair metal heads. Pants off dance off is finally explained. Hey, it's better than giving a deposition.

This week our Adventurers interview the Faboo Hathaway Dilba, head of promotions at Ale Asylum. The boys explore all of the hoppy and malty ales at AA and catch wind of some neato new changes arriving this fall! Hathaway and our hosts explore why Hitler loved 4/20 so much, Pokemon GO, Garden Talk, and Ghostbusting for brewers.

On a boat! The boys get together in the great outdoors. This episode is recorded on the ultimate Wisconsin vacation destination, a pontoon boat. Whilst soaking up the summer rays the boys discover why Michelob is not beer, how the sausage is made, life on the rez, and why frogs? The episode was recorded on a boat (did I mention) so please excuse the drop in sound quality. Oh, and keep it slow kids... There is definitely NO WAKE

An Hour of Power! Greg and Josh return! after a two week beer vacation our hosts re-enter the podcast world in proper form. For one special night the boys imbibe what they initially think is 1.5oz per minute of Moon Man (New Glarus Brewing) for sixty minutes. What the Boys don't know is that the Sjou glasses they are using are roughly double that size. What unfolds is both hilarious and disgusting, proceed with an open mind and be prepared for more gas and idiocy than usual as this episode is totally uncut as per the rules of the game.

This week Greg and Josh are riding low after a celebratory binge, but don't fret; they still manage to put on a pretty good show. With new music from The Whiskey Farm and a few HHG-APAs from Central Waters Brewery the boys are back on track and harping on teenage-keggers, burgers, brews, damn Daniel, Weird Dads, and Oysters. We are super pump'd to announce that we will be interviewing the brewers at Captial Brewery in Middleton during Burgers and Brews Festival, so stay tuned for that next week!
